This was the initiators second meeting and they are firmly determined to make this sport big across the country. The sport is more locally known in Trøndelag but the gang have plans for it to spread nationwide, starting with Ås. The idea is that the B in “Basse and B” will stand for something else they come up with each time Basse and B gets together.
During the meeting the initiators made their first “Basser” for their first event on Sunday. A “Basse” is made with the help of twine and pieces of hoses from bike tires tied to the twine. A player is supposed to do “tricks” with the “Basse” while simultaneously trying to move the object into the opponent square (that actually is more of a ring). One will get one penalty point for every time the “Basse” hits within the square. The game is played by the the Rash Method, until one is left standing victorious.
Meet up Sunday at 12 if you’d like to try or just watch!
