Vacant positions

Would you like to become one of us? Tuntréet always needs good people in the editorial office! Here is an overview of vacancies at Tuntréet

Application deadline: Ongoing

Editorial Assistant (CH)

Are you an organized and responsible person who likes to get things done? The editors are looking for a new editorial assistant who can help with the various organizational and administrative tasks that come up in a student newspaper. Key responsibilities include keeping the social wheels turning within the editorial team by organizing internal social gatherings. We also need an extra hand to keep Tuntréet’s finances in order, ensuring continuity and good organization. If you're looking for a varied and flexible role as a committee head, this is the position for you!

Layout Manager (CH)

Do you have a keen eye for form and color but no outlet for it? Join us as the layout manager! Every third weekend, Tuntréet is put together by our talented layout staff, and we’re now looking for someone who can oversee this work to maintain continuity and quality in each issue. This position offers creative freedom and set working hours outside of party nights, along with plenty of practice with Adobe programs like InDesign! Do you have the aesthetic sense we’re looking for?

Journalist (CM)

Do you have a passion for writing or a desire to cover issues and opinions that matter to students? At Tuntréet, you have plenty of opportunities to suggest and shape stories as you like, giving your fellow students insight into what’s happening on and off campus. This position provides valuable writing practice and many opportunities to work with exciting people and topics. A top grade in Norwegian or journalism experience isn’t required—the most important thing is that you enjoy writing and storytelling!

Photographer (CM)

Do you enjoy taking photos? Would you like to document what’s happening at Ås while helping shape Tuntréet’s visual style? Then we’d love to have you as a photographer! This role is a fantastic opportunity to learn a lot about photography and editing. Neither experience nor your own camera is required, as we can provide both if needed!

Translator (CM)

Do you have international friends who don’t quite understand what Studentsamfunnet is all about? Is English like a second mother tongue to you? Break down barriers and include international students by translating Norwegian texts in Tuntréet! As a translator, you mostly work when issues are being put together, every third week, and the position is otherwise flexible and low-commitment.
