Want to Join the Tuntreet Team this fall?

Are you a curious student looking to get involved? Do you want a deeper look into the Ås bubble? Be part of an engaged and creative crew? Maybe you're also interested in cheaper entry and drinks at Samfunnet, plus access to the legendary internal party? Tuntreet is the students’ very own newspaper here at NMBU. With a new issue every three weeks—five per semester—there are plenty of opportunities to unleash your creativity and grow in your areas of interest. We have both committee member (CM) and committee head (CH) positions available.

Application deadline 23. may! Apply through Tuntreet or Studentsamfunnets web pages or send your application to our mail: tuntreet@samfunnetiaas.no

Podcast (CH) – One Position

This is a brand-new committee where you’ll create a podcast together with two other committee members (journalists). Are you passionate about storytelling, investigating, and informing others? Then this is the position for you. Previous experience with audio recording and editing is an advantage, as well as a general interest in what’s happening on campus.

Game Page Creator (KM) – One position

Do you want to take over the production of Tuntréets most popular case? No, not ‘To Brune’, not ‘Have you heard’, but the Game pages! As the game page creator, you can let your creative senses tingle with both Cross-Word puzzles and Sudoku. Fill up Tuntréet with your words (and numbers). The position is very flexible, and you are free to shape the future Game pages as you wish!

Journalist (CM) – Two positions

Do you have a passion for writing or a desire to cover issues and opinions that matter to students? At Tuntréet, you have plenty of opportunities to suggest and shape stories as you like, giving your fellow students insight into what’s happening on and off campus. This position provides valuable writing practice and many opportunities to work with exciting people and topics. A top grade in Norwegian or journalism experience isn’t required – the most important thing is that you enjoy writing and storytelling!

Web distribution (CH) – One Position

As a web distributor, you are responsible for Tuntreet’s digital presence. Your tasks include managing our social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, as well as creating and designing web articles to be published on our website. The work is highly flexible and is a great position for anyone who wants to get involved in the volunteer community in Ås while maintaining a schedule that suits them. No prior experience is required, but familiarity with social media is beneficial.

Layout worker (CM) – Three positions

Are you a creative soul with an eye for design? As a layout designer for Tuntreet, you’ll help shape each issue, define the visual impact of articles, and elevate them to new heights. You’ll work with the team every third weekend before the issue goes to print—a creative and social role that offers great experience in digital design. Some familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is a plus, but not a requirement!

Photographer (CM) – Two positions

Do you like taking pictures? Do you want to document what is happening at Ås and at the same time help shape Tuntreet's expression? Then we would like to have you as a photographer! Being a photographer is a fantastic opportunity to learn a lot of new things in photography and editing. Neither experience nor your own camera is required, as we provide both.

TRANSLATOR (CM) – Two Positions

Do you have international friends who don’t quite get what the Student Society is all about? Is English like a second native language to you? Break down barriers and help include international students by translating the Norwegian texts in Tuntreet! As a translator, most of your work will take place during the magazine production period, which happens every three weeks, but the position is otherwise flexible and low-commitment.
