Want to Join the Tuntreet Team this fall?
Are you a curious student looking to get involved? Do you want a deeper look into the Ås bubble? Be part of an engaged and creative crew? Maybe you're also interested in cheaper entry and drinks at Samfunnet, plus access to the legendary internal party? Tuntreet is the students’ very own newspaper here at NMBU. With a new issue every three weeks—five per semester—there are plenty of opportunities to unleash your creativity and grow in your areas of interest. We have both committee member (CM) and committee head (CH) positions available.
Apply through Tuntreet or Studentsamfunnets web pages or send your application to our mail: tuntreet@samfunnetiaas.no
Web distribution (KS)
As a web distributor, you are responsible for Tuntreet’s digital presence. Your tasks include managing our social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, as well as creating and designing web articles to be published on our website. The work is highly flexible and is a great position for anyone who wants to get involved in the volunteer community in Ås while maintaining a schedule that suits them. No prior experience is required, but familiarity with social media is beneficial.
Layout (KS)
Are you a creative soul with an eye for design? As the layout manager at Tuntreet, you will have the opportunity to design and shape the physical editions. Every third weekend is a layout weekend, when the main part of the layout manager’s work takes place. During these weekends, you have overall responsibility for assembling the issue with the help of the rest of the layout committee. The edition is finalized together with the editors and sent to print on Sunday. Experience with InDesign or other design/layout software is preferred.
Podcast (KM)
Have you heard our new podcast Tun Inn and want more? Then join the podcast comittee. Do you possess some talent for the technical, are somewhat structured, but not the least a curious soul? Then we want to hear from you.
Head of Photography (KS)
As KS Foto, you are the head of Tuntréet’s photo committee and are responsible for photographic content in the newspaper. You delegate tasks to Tuntréet’s photographers, assist with training and provide advice when needed. In addition, you are available during layout weekends and review all the photos before the newspaper is sent to print. You should have good knowledge of camera technology and image processing.
Journalist (KM)
As a journalist at Tuntréet, you help ensure that other students have interesting and entertaining articles to read. There is a wide variety of stories, and the threshold for proposing your own ideas is low. You gain great insight into everything that’s happening in Ås and get to talk to many different people. You also get a unique opportunity to become part of the social community at Tuntréet. We meet for publication waffles for each issue and have several social events together throughout the semester.
