Results from the student election 2021
The election results from the Student election are ready, and Ina Maria Finnerud was elected as the new leader of the Student Board. Finnerud studies International Environment and Development Studies, and comes from Hole. She will be working with Vegard Sjaastad Hansen and Nisha Jha on the Student Board. Tilde Birgitte Dahlberg was elected as a representative on the Board of University, Astrid Lunde as deputy.

"I want to thank the students at NMBU for their faith in me!" Ina Maria Finnerud states through the Student Parliament Facebook page after the victory.
The Student Board of the Student Parliament is responsible for running the student democracy. It consists of three elected members, granted a salary as well as leave of absence from studies.
This year, the election results had a voter turnout of 17,73%, somewhat higher than last autumn, but still lower than the spring of 2020, which had seven percent higher voter turnout. This pattern is observable in other university elections.

There will be a period of overlap between the current and newly elected on the Student Board until July 1st. From then on, the current leader of the Student Board, Tuva Todnem Lund, will become the leader of NSO, Magnus Dybdahl will work with academic and research politics in NSO, and Tilde Birgitte Dalberg will, as mentioned, become a representative on the Board of University.
